My friend Charlotte was doing the Great North Run so I offered to run it with her for support. I also did it to raise money for TraidCraft.

The GNR is the biggest Half Marathon in the world, starting in Newcastle and finishing at South Shields. There were 52,000 runners there that day!

Because I wasn't going to try for a personal best or anything (the GNR is rubbish for PBs anyway because of how many people there are) I thought I'd take the opportunity to make the most of the atmosphere and film things instead. It was an absolutely GLORIOUSLY sunny day.

As you'd imagine, the footage is a bit shaky.
